Kathy Lynn Stephens, 54, of Etowah, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla. A native of Etowah, she was a member of Goodsprings Baptist Church and was a daughter of Hoyt and Barbara Watson of Etowah. Survivors include one daughter, Pam Stephens of Etowah; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Leann Stephens of Etowah; three grandchildren, Danyua Stephens of Cleveland, and Aerial and Taylor Rowland, both of Athens; two brothers, Rick Watson of Cleveland, and Roger Watson of Etowah; one sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Scott Mooneyham of Athens, Ga.; one very special friend, John Kyle of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and will proceed to Goodsprings Cemetery for the 11 a.m. burial.Pallbearers will be Tyler Watson, Nathan Watson, Lowell Watson, Andy Mooneyham and Chris Mooneyham.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
