Kathy Strickland, 64 of Etowah, TN passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Parkwest Medical Center.

Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rhuetta Plumlee; in-laws, Pearl and De Strickland, brother, Harold L. Plumlee; brother-in-law, Mick Spradling.

Kathy was a member of Warehouse Church in Etowah; a member of Eastern Star and member of Boy Scout Troop 74 Etowah; she was employed by Polk County Health Department.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Strickland; son and daughter-in-law, John Strickland and April Hall of Etowah; granddaughter, Adi Strickland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Abe Stearns of Herrin, IL, Sally Spradling of Decatur, Bonnie and Andy Strickland of Powell, sisters-in-law, Sandy Plumlee of Herrin, IL, Virginia Strickland of Etowah, Deanna and Steve Robbins Riceville; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Combs officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service.
