Kenneth Stone, 88, of Etowah, TN passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Kenneth was a longtime member of North Etowah Baptist Church. He retired from Bowater after 42 years. He loved spending his free time gardening and listening to southern gospel music. Kenneth always had a smile on his face. He loved people and he always let them know just how much he loved them.

Preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Ethel Stone; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and K.C. Loftis and Anna Mae and Herman Studdard; brother and sisters-in-law, M.L. and Elizabeth, Ruben and Fannie, Parnick and Paula, Hubert "Tub", Roy and Sue, and Jarvis Stone.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Mary Stone, children and spouses, Rebecca and Avery Torbett and Chris and Cathie Stone; step-son and spouse, Brandon and Micca Terrell; grandchildren and spouses, Autumn and Chandler Rollo, Travis and Trish Cavitt, Melissa Cavitt, Zoe Terrell and Kirby Terrell; great-grandchildren, Journey and Justice Rollo, Mahayla Looney, Makaya and Ariel Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Hazel Stone; sister-in-law, Eva Jean Stone; special friend, Frank Barton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Jerald Daffe and David Kirby   officiating.

No formal visitation will be held.

A private burial will be held at a later time.
