Kenneth Wayne "Wobbs" Wilson, 84, of Englewood, TN passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024.

Wayne dedicated 31 years of his life as a unique but unconventional auto mechanics instructor at McMinn Central High School, inspiring all the students he encountered. Through his love of auto mechanics, he  led his students to thrive beyond themselves. Wayne not only taught his students, but he also took them under his wing showing them they could do anything they set their mind to. He never could say no to anyone, he was the true "Jack of all trades."

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Raymond and Jeanetta Rea Hicks Wilson.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Keasler Wilson; daughter, Ronna Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Stacy and Teresa Wilson; sisters, Sue Raper and Linda Womac; grandchildren and spouses, Aaron Raper, Rachael and Matt Ledford, Blake and Paige Wilson, Kacy and Derrick Frederick; great-grandchildren, Hayden Ledford and Colton Harrill.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.
