Kermit Eugene "Gene" Lane, 75, of Etowah, TN passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020.

Preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lane; parents, Kermit and Cathline Lane.

He is survived by his sons and  daughters-in-law, Kenneth Lane and Devonna Harris, John and Jimmie Lane of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Sheryl Lane Long of Holladay, TN; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Wolfe.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Etowah Cemetery with Pastor Scott Cardin officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m., Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
