Larry D. Bryan, 76, a life-long of resident Etowah passed away early Wednesday morning May 18, 2016 at his residence. He retired from Bowater after 41 years of service. He was a faithful attendee of Woodward Avenue Church of God, where he was a member of the Keenager Choir.

Preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Aileen Bryan; brother, Gary Bryan; granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Johnson; and niece, Jennifer Renee Moses.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lorene Moses Bryan of Etowah; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Johnny Johnson of Englewood; son and daughter-in-law; Steven and Brooke Bryan of Etowah; grandchildren, Ashley "AJ" Johnson and Ethan Bryan; brother and sister-in-law, David and Brenda Bryan; special sister, Jayne Dunkle and husband Stanley; sister-in-law, Paulette Bryan; and cousin, Elaine Gist.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Fritts and Pastor Clifford Waters officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow service to Green Hill Cemetery.
