Larry Cherry, 69, of Etowah, TN passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. He was a son of the late Kenneth and Lillie Pauline Cherry and a member of Michigan Ave. Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents. Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, James and Jessica Cherry of Etowah, TN and Tommy Cherry of Turtletown, TN; daughters, Candice Cherry of Isabella, TN and Nancy Carr of Silver Point, TN; grandchildren, Justin Cherry, Jake Cross, Candra Cross, Jessie Cross, Harley Carr, Hayden Cherry and Hannah Cherry; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Mary Cherry of Chatsworth, GA, Bill Sr. and Sue Cherry of Etowah, John and Crystal Cherry of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Tony Land of Etowah, TN, Mike and Debbie Wilson of Etowah, TN.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Mark Hensley officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday prior to the service. Interment will follow service to Mars Hill Cemetery. Hayden Cherry, Tony Land, Bill Cherry, Jake Crofts, Justin Cherry, Tat Cherry, Shawn Sampson, and Joey Sampson will serve as pallbearers.
