Larry Thomas Trew, 75, of Athens, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday morning, May 31, 2022.

Larry enjoyed hunting, trading on guns, and yard sales. He especially loved telling others about God and sharing scripture with them. His faith was the cornerstone of who Larry was, as well as his love for his family. He attended Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle and Woodward Avenue Church of God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Pearl Trew; brothers, Donald, Bill, and David Trew of Athens and Decatur, TN.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Linda Watson Trew; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Cory Wilson, Meredith and Robert Johnson, Crystal Branham; grandchildren, Sean Trew, Kayla Trew, Sierra Sneed, Kelsey Reasons, Logan Johnson, and Jacob Wilson; 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Wynn and Pastor Clifford Waters officiating.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 3, 2022 at the funeral home and go in procession to Cedar Grove Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.

Cory Wilson, Robert Johnson, Sean Trew, Kayla Trew, Logan Johnson, and Isaiah Trew will serve as pallbearers.
