Lawrence O'Neil Wilson, 64, of Etowah, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at his residence. A son of the late Lucille Hamilton, he served in the U.S. Navy and was preceded in death by one brother, T.T. Taylor. Survivors include two children; one brother, Gerald Hamilton of Etowah; and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jones Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. John Roberson officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
