Leecie Grisham, 94 of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her residence.
She was a native and lived in McMinn County for most of her life; she was a member of Goodsprings Baptist Church; and she loved cooking, working in her flowers and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Grisham; father and mother, James M. and Ada Carver; brothers, Elzie Carver, Emerson Carver, R.D. Carver and Bud Carver.
Survivors include her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Sam Anderson, Bennie and Harold Rogers; 2 granddaughters and their spouses, Joye and James Bryan, Tammye and Lonnie Lynn; 1 grandson, Tracy Rogers; great-grandchildren, Trina and Steven Ingram, Holly Bryan, Nathan and Amber Rogers; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Taylor Ingram, Skylar Ingram, Bayleigh Ingram, A.J. McKinney, Montanna McKinney, and step-granddaughter, Angie Lynn; 1 great-great-great-grandson, Gage Samples; 2 great-great-great-granddaughters, Addie Ingram and Raelyn Culberson; 2 sisters, Geneva Evans and Betty Lou and Bill Blair; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty Ruth Carver and Dorsey Carver; Several nieces and nephews; Special thanks to Amedysis Hospice of Athens and her nurse, Carrie; also a special thanks to Suzette Dunn for her help and care for our loved one.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Goodsprings Cemetery with Dr. Robert Jack Burns officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Sam Anderson, Lonnie Lynn, Harold Rogers, James Bryan, Tracy Rogers, A.J. McKinney and Nathan Rogers will serve as pallbearers.
