Obituary

Leonard Dwight Ingram, 74, of Etowah, TN, passed away on the morning of September 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 52 years, Betty Ledford Ingram. He was a long-time member of Dixon Avenue Baptist Church. He loved and served the Lord and his family well. He retired from Maytag after 44 years of service. After retiring, he pursued his love of small engine repair, where he became known as the go-to fix-it man.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Tammy and Paul Gentry of Athens, and Jessica Jacobs of Etowah; four grandchildren and their spouses: Mica and Robby Trammell, Chelsea and Sterling Vantrease, Kevin Gentry, and Austin Jacobs; and four great-grandchildren: Jack, Stevie Jane, Sloane, and Lachlan.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 15, 2018, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Watson and Rev. Danny Singleton officiating. Interment will follow in the Etowah Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
