Lillian Aiken, 97, of Etowah, TN, left her earthly home on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
Lillian loved the Lord and gospel music; going to church and her family. She was one of the oldest members of North Etowah Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family, friends and cooking for them.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, James O. Arms; second husband, Wayne Aiken; parents, Murray and Fannie Tallent Wilson; son; Gary Arms; siblings, Betty Merrell, Thelma Arthur, Ruby Gallahar, Roxie Wilson, Elizabeth Kessler, Horace Wilson, Jack Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, and Clyde Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Roger Farley; grandchildren, Heather Farley, Lori Farley Tate, Russell Arms, Kaela Blakely and Erica Bates; great-grandchildren, Alexus Arms, Zach Arms, Hadley Blakely, Emma Blakely, Madelynn Bates, Cayden Bates, Colton Bates and Callen Bates.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2023, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with speaker Dennis Bordwine officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Sunday prior to the service.
Interment will follow the service in Green Hill Cemetery.
Adam Tate, Craig Bowers, Jonathan Blakely, Russ Arms, Tyler Bates and Cayden Bates will serve as pallbearers..
