Lillie Cherry, 90, of Etowah, TN went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, September 20, 2015, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home.

Daughter of the late Will and Tempie Shell and preceded in death by her parents, listed above; grandson, Kenny Cherry; granddaughters, Robin Cherry and Lisa Walker; brother, Buster Shell; sisters, Edna Jones and Joyce Shell.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Mary Cherry of Chatsworth, GA, Larry Cherry of Etowah, TN, Bill Sr. and Sue Cherry of Etowah, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Tony Land of Etowah, TN;12 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the funeral home and proceed to Mars Hill Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
