Lillie Mae Kimsey Trew, 95, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 21, 2011, at her residence. A native of Middlesboro, KY, she was a resident of the Cog Hill Community, and a daughter of the late Elihu and Kitty Kimsey. She was a member of Carlock United Methodist Church and was an active member of the church quilting circle. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Leonard Lee Trew; parents, listed above; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Arnold Gardner; a son, Stanley Trew and a son-in-law, Marlin Hamby.

She left behind to cherish her memory, four children and spouses, Carlos and Charlene Trew of Ringgold, GA, Roy and Joan Trew of Etowah, TN, Dianne Hamby of Cleveland, TN and Pam and Terry Crump of Delano, TN; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Trew of Etowah, TN; sister, Mildred Roberts of FL; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, April 25th, in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Crockett officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Monday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Green Hill Cemetery, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 for the 10 a.m., committal service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
