Linda Lou Mowery, 68, of Etowah, TN passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Minnie Sue Brown and a native of McMinn County and she was of the Baptist faith and previously employed as a waitress at Shoney's. Proceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Mowery; and her parents.

Survivors include 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Jerry Toomey, Christine and Rob Elder, Billie Joe and Glyn Robinson; 2 sons, Christopher Ray Mowery and Bobby Joe Mowery; 2 sisters, Etta Peck and Juanita Jones; grandchildren, Marinda Hyatt, Emily Elder, Ray Robinson, Aaron Robinson, Heather Robinson, Junior Robinson, Crista Mowery, and Dustin Mowery and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Stephens officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to7:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2014 and proceed to Sullins Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m., committal service. Brandon Smith, Aaron Robinson, Ray Robinson and Glyn Robinson Jr., Charles Robinson and Jerry Toomey will serve as pallbearers.
