Lois Wear, 82, of Etowah, died Monday, June 27, 2011, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. A native of McMinn County, she was a member of Englewood Church of Christ. A daughter of the late Amos and Etta Rayburn, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Earl Wear; four sisters, Elizabeth McKinney, Gertrude Mullinax, Evelyn Nieze and Lillian Newton; and three brothers, Frank, Jack and Robert Rayburn. Survivors include two sisters, Geneva Farley of Englewood, and Nellie Farley of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Green Hill Cemetery with Minister Pat Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.
