Lorene Marie Byars, 84, of Riceville, TN, passed away, Friday, September 20, 2013 at Willow Acres Assisted Living Facility. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Byars.Survivors include 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Gary and Dawn Byars of Blairsville, GA, Terry Lynn and the late Lisa Byars of SC, Kevin Bradley and Mary Byars of Hixon, TN; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Donna Marie and Brian Weir of Niota, TN. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Wade and Dr. Harold Curtis officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 Tuesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
