Lou Ann Rogers Buckner, 80 of Etowah, TN passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

She was a daughter of the late Joe and Treva Rogers.

Lou Ann was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church; her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, painting and spending time with her family; Lou Ann also enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.

Preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Duck" Buckner; daughter, Sherry Godsey; sister, Gwen Underwood.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Steve Patterson of Ringgold, GA, Janet and Frank Lee of Etowah, TN, Karen and Tony Barnett of Englewood; grandchildren, Tyler Patterson, Andrew Patterson, Heather Reese, Adam Lee, Barrett Barnett, Shelby Barnett, Tara Pulliam and Jay Godsey; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jane Taylor and Ginger Farrell.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday September 27, 2018 in the Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday September 28th at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. committal service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
