Louise Tallent Jenkins, age 83, passed away Tuesday night, June 22, 2010 at Fort Loudon Medical Center in Lenoir City, TN. She was a native of Franklin, NC, a former resident of Etowah for most of her life, and a resident of Lenoir City for the past eight years. She was a daughter of the late Noah and Ila Hall Tallent, and was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Oran Jenkins of Lenoir City, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ray Blevins of Lenoir City, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Pat Jenkins of Lenoir City, TN; two sisters Kate Johnson of Athens, TN and Ann Arp of Benton, TN; five grandchildren and spouses, Brandon and Clarisa Newman, Brian and Sandra Newman, Emily and Abe Aziz, Derek and Ashley Jenkins, and Callie and Brian Casey; two great-grandchildren, Lucy Jenkins and Crosby Aziz and several nieces and nephews. The family would also like to give a special thank you to NHC of Farragut and Baptist Health Care of Knoxville. Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Friday, June 25th at Bordwine Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. A private committal service will be held at Green Hill Cemetery.
