Louise Swartout McGrath, 73, of Etowah, TN, passed away, Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center. A native of Etowah and the daughter of the late Richard and Myrtle Swartout. She was a member of North Etowah Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and she loved her church family dearly.Survivors include her sister, Maritha Casteel of Cartersville, GA; brother, Frank Swartout of Mississippi; niece, Pam Smith; and nephew, Mike Casteel; several loving friends and her church family.Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Wade officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble Wednesday, August 28th at Green Hill Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m., Committal service. North Etowah Baptist Church Deacons will serve as pallbearers.
