Loyd A. Morgan, Sr., 88 of Niota, TN, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 7, 2020.

He was a native of Benton, TN and retired from Vestal after 25 years of dedicated service.

Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Elsie "Nee Cheek"; loving wife, Alene "Nee Hampton" one great-grandson, Raul Cabrera; one son-in-law, Louis Gunder.

He is survived by his three children, Frances Gunder, Loydean (James) Willis, Lloyd (Tanya) Morgan; seven adored grandchildren, Kim (Lawrence) Murray, Darrell (Darnay) Morgan, Christina (Fiance, Michael Sturdivant) Gunder, Tanya (Matthew) Morford, Angela (Michael) Hartgrove, Heather Thomas, Travis Morgan; seven great-grandchildren, Daniel Green, Ashley Aoyagi, Avvy Cabrera, Avery Morgan; one great-great-grandson, Austin Frickey.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2020 at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Athens, TN, with Military Honors, Rev.  Jimmy Willis will officiate.
