Lucille Francis Buckner, 86, of Etowah, TN, passed away, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Woods Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Ruil and America Jamerson. Preceded in death by 2 sons, Jeffery Lynn Buckner and Douglas Michael Buckner; 4 sisters, Iva Rhea Carter, Mollie Buckner, Nora Lee Jamerson and Willie Dent Jamerson; 1 brother, Charles B. Jamerson. Survivors include her husband, Curtis "Babe" Buckner of Etowah; son and 2 daughters-in-law, Melvin and Debbie Buckner of Cleveland, TN, Barbara Buckner Shaffer of Sweetwater, TN; grandchildren and their spouses, Debra Robinet, Susie and Myke Svedberg, Alan and StephanieBuckner, Jerry Buckner, Mitchell Buckner, Tonya and David Shoemaker, Jennifer and Joey Oliver, Beth and Nick Jones; 8 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Patsy Buckner of Ooltewah, TN; several special nieces and nephews which she loved dearly. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Bryan officiating. Interment will follow service in Conasauga Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 11th at the funeral home.
