Lynn Tracy Brown, 83, of Englewood, TN passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022.

He was a native of McMinn County.

Lynn was a dedicated member and deacon of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Rachel Brown; brothers, T.W. Brown and Ruble Brown; sisters, Iva Pearl Sherlin and Mary Ellen Sneed; father and mother-in-law, Horace and Alma Casteel.

Leaves behind to treasure his memory, wife of 63 years, Carrie Sue Brown; son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Angela Lane Brown; one grandson, Nolan Brown; sister, Inez Barnette; special brother-in-law and best friend, Jack Raper; along with a host of several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

We are forever grateful for the excellent care and enduring support that has been given by Hospice of Chattanooga. We will never be able to thank them enough.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Brown and Cody Casteel officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 20 ^th at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.

Nolan Brown, Jeff Raper, Mark Raper, Scott Roddy, J.L. Barnett and Gary Casteel will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Cook, Scott Cass, Dickie Slack, Rickey Haney, Shane Moates and Preston Tullock.
