Margaret Sutton Guinn, 91, of Etowah, TN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

Preceded in death by her parents, W. Elmer and Alma Spivey; husband, Paul R. Guinn; son, Duane Sutton; she was one of nine children, also preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Gregory and Marjorie Wade; one brother, David Spivey.

A 1948 graduate of Pasco High School, Florida; she moved to Etowah in 1955. She was a member of North Etowah Baptist Church.

Margaret was a talented seamstress, wonderful cook; she loved gardening, crocheting and jigsaw puzzles. She was the embodiment of a Proverbs 31 woman.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Priscilla Sutton; daughter, Charlotte Sutton Pittman; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Linda Bordwine; granddaughter, Catherine Sutton Choate and husband, Phil; grandson, Trevor Sutton and wife, Jennifer; granddaughter, Candice Bingham and husband, Matt; grandson, Cameron Elmore and wife, Heather; five great-grandchildren, Tristan and Kaylee Elmore, Presley Choate, Anastasia Sutton and Lily Bingham; two step-great-grandchildren, Brianna Baker and Christian Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Gerald Atkins officiating.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 16 ^th at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.

Brad Stewart, Mike Byer, Casey Pittman, Jim Gregory, Gary Coleman and John Scroggins will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to North Etowah Baptist Church, building fund, 231 PA Ave., Etowah, TN 37331.
