Margaret "Maggie" L. Knox, 85, of Ellijay, GA, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012, at North GA Medical Center. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Stubby" Knox. Survivors include 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Sherry Knox Miller of Ellijay, GA formerly of Etowah, Kimberly Knox and Kenny Webb of Ellijay, GA; Grandchildren and spouses, Tammy Faulkner, Jeff and Holly Wood, Kenney and Jennifer Knox and Scott and April Knox. Great-grandchildren, Cole Keeter, Cayden Wood, Hudson Wood, Melody Wood, Hailey Knox, Michael Knox and Zachary Knox; 2 brothers and 1 sister, Mary Dalton, John Hall and Dan Watson all formerly of Etowah. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2012 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home. Interment to follow service at Etowah Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2012, in the South Chapel.
