Margaret Ann Bowers Young, 80, of the Brookhill Community in Etowah, TN, passed away peacefully Friday, November 19, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.

Margaret was a life-long resident of Monroe and McMinn County and was a dedicated Christian of the Baptist Faith. She was the daughter of the late Ethel and Raymond Bowers.

Preceded in death by her parents listed above; brothers, Robert, Herman; half-sisters, Mae Hampleton and Franesis Moses; brothers-in-law, Bruce Young and Melvin Young; sister-in-law, Brenda Young.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Eugene Young; children and spouses, Kathy and Ricky Atkins, Donna and Mike Huffman, Scott and Angelia Young; grandchildren, Forrest Atkins, Candie and Tony Sloop, Megan Fernandez, Branigan and Andy Cross; special friend and sister-in-law, Jean Bowers; great-grandchidren, Ehvey Kross, Braiden, Maggie, and Maverick; brothers, Tommy and Michael Young; other family members include, Reese and Robin Young, Paul and Rebecca Young, Glen and Louise Young, Brunner and Patricia Young, Sue Young, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Monday, November 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Eleazar Cemetery in Monroe County with Rev. Rick Atkins officiating.

No formal visitation will be held.
