Marie Crittenden, 98 of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Bertha Moses.

She loved Goodsprings Baptist Church where she was a member for over 40 years; she also enjoyed quilting and spending time in her garden.

Preceded in death by her husband, John Crittenden; brothers, Howard, Horton, Chester, Otis and Conway Moses; sisters, Nona, Vida, Henrietta, Grace, Ima Jean and Effie.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, JB and Linda Crittenden; brother, Cecil Moses; sister, Neva Hammonds; grandchildren, Jeff Crittenden and "Annette" , Michael Crittenden and "Melissa", Rexanna Wilson and "Ricky", and Skylar Crittenden; step grandchildren, Mitchell Maddux and "Lisa", Stephen Maddux and "Lisa", and Tonya Owens; and several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Herman Curtis Jordan officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble Thursday, April 19th at Goodsprings Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
