Marie Spivey Gregory, 77 of Etowah, TN passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was a native of Lacoochee, FL and a residence of Etowah for 13 years. She was a daughter of the late Elmer and Alma Spivey; she was a retired X-ray technician and a member of North Etowah Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Gregory of Etowah; sisters, Margaret Quinn of Etowah, Marjorie Wade of Starke, FL, and Martha Kay Simpson of VA; brothers, William Harvey Spivey of Starke, FL, David Spivey of Guntersville, AL, Paul Spivey of Hutchinson Island, FL,Don Spivey of Port Saint Lucie, FL and John Spivey of Lacoochee, FL; daughter, Anita Handley of FL; son, Michael Handley of FL; several grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Wade officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
