Marie "Tootsie" Elizabeth Grindell Miller, 77, of Etowah, TN, went to be with the Good Lord on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Born on April 9, 1945, she was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County. She was a  wonderful devoted wife and mother to both of her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Ashby Grindell and Verta Lee Grindell; her daughter, Lisa Marie Miller; her sisters, Julia Freeman, Sarah Sutton, Evelyn Walker, and Edith Freeman; her brothers, Fred and Maynard Grindell.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Lee Miller of Etowah; son and daughter-in-love, Jason and Earon "BB" Miller of Cleveland; a very special granddaughter, Ruby Lee Miller of Cleveland; sisters-in-love, Barbara Green, Nancy Carroll (Dwayne); brother-in-loves, Tommy Miller (Roseanne), Don Miller (Dana); and several extended family members.

Ruby was the apple of her eye, the spring in her step, the song in her heart, the warmth in her smile, the sunshine on her face, the frosting on her cake, the rose in her garden, and the light of her life.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in Etowah Cemetery with Rev. Travis Rodgers officiating.
