Marie Cobble Newman, 94, of Etowah, TN passed away at her home Friday, February 26, 2021.

Marie was the oldest member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Newman; parents, Vernon and Icie Cobble; sister, Mildred Cobble; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Dustin Robinson.

She is survived by her close family, Brenda and J.R. Hamm, Anna and Jesse Esparza, Darrell and Pauline Hembree; grandchildren, Crystal and Wyatt Freeman, Jeremy and Nabela Hamm, Christina and Edward Weeks; great-grandchildren, Raven Robinson, Aban Freeman, Zeke Hamm, Gabe Hamm and Izzy Weeks.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 1st, in Cedar Grove Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Hickman officiating.

No formal visitation will be held.
