Marjorie Ellen Watson, 70, of Etowah, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 12, 1014, at Starr Regional Medical Center in Etowah, TN. She worked 24 years at Athens Stove until its closing; she became a CNA and then worked at Krystal's for 10 years until she retired. Marjorie loved the outdoors, everything that God created, she found beauty in. A daughter of the late Sam and Orah Carroll, she was preceded in death by her parents, listed above; brother, Lowell Reed Carroll; and brother-in-law, Ray Reynolds.Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Billy Lawhorne of Athens; grandchildren and spouses, Eric and Tina Sisk and Natasha and Scott Cargine all of Athens; four great-grandchildren, Bill Sisk, Isaac Sisk, Lidia Sisk and Harmony Cargine; sister, Gertrude Reynolds; nieces, Caroline Reynolds and Sheila Dennis; and nephews, Tommy Carroll and Roger Carroll. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at McMinn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6:00- 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in the North Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.
