Martha Lee Goforth Rowland, 97 of Riceville, TN, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late George and Annie Goforth and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Lake Pascal Rowland; daughter, Jo Evelyn Rowland Cooper; granddaughter, Tammy Ward York; parents, listed above.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Evelyn Rowland; daughters and son-in-law, Jean Albritton, Carolyn and Arlie Givens; grandsons, Jeff Albritton, Greg Albritton, Darren and wife Lacey Rowland; granddaughters, Kim and husband David Baker and Tara Plumlee; 7 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, Francis, Mary Ann, Linda, Billy, Junior and James Goforth.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Robert E. Hamilton and Rev. John Crabtree officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
