Obituary

Mary Juanita Dixon Williams, 93 of Etowah, TN passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. She was a daughter of the late Elige Brackett and Eva Lou Linder and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a homemaker, retired owner of Dixon Cab Company, worked for L&N Railroad for many years, and served as a foster parent for many homeless children. Preceded in death by her parents, listed above; and son, Bill C. Dixon.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Jerry Bryan; grandchildren, Chad and Summer Hooper, Jeremy Hooper and Taylor Bryan; great-grandchildren, Isabelle Hooper, Ethan Hooper and Domenic Hooper; many niece and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Dr. Jason Clark officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at McMinn Memory Gardens for the 10:00 a.m. Committal Service.
