Mary Frances Guy, 85, of Etowah, TN passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens. A native of Polk County and a resident of McMinn County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late William Burkett and Aline Wiley Moss and a member of Gateway Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her husband, Winston Athol Guy.

Survivors include her 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Rita Guy of Englewood, TN, David and Dr. Saunook Pedigo-Guy of Sweetwater, TN; grandchildren and spouses, Joe and Stephanie Guy of Englewood, TN, Todd Guy of Charleston, TN, Nicholas and Dawn Bishop of Sweetwater, TN, and Anthony Bishop; Great-grandchildren, Brady Guy and fiancé Camisha Jackson, Jackson Guy and Will Guy; great-great-grandchildren, Winston Robert Guy, Taylor Stringham and Anastasia Bishop;2 aunts that she loved as sisters, Mrs. Austin "Billie" Watson of Chattanooga, TN andMrs. Paul "Jean" Wiley of Etowah, TN;Caregiver, Joy Gibson whom she loved as a special daughter.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home with Minister Bill Corn and Minister Bob Cantley officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Green Hill Cemetery, Thursday, December 4, 2014 for the 11:00 a.m., committal service.

Pallbearers will be Joe Guy, Todd Guy, Will Guy, Brady Guy, Jackson Guy, Nicholas Bishop and Anthony Bishop.
