Mary Helen Kirkland, 89, of Etowah, TN passed away Monday evening September 28, 2020.

Helen was born in Madisonville, TN but later lived most of her life in Etowah, TN.

Preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Kirkland; parents, Lawrence and Kate Graves; sister, Margaret Hyman; and brother, Edgar Graves.

Survivors include three sisters, Rebecca Phillips, Deloris Clark and Willie Jean Rinehart and a long time friend who was like a daughter to her, Janie Brannon.

She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and was active as a Sunday school teacher.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2020 in Conasauga Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Blanchette officiating.

No formal visitation will be held.
