Mary Sue Land, 79, of Englewood, TN passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at UT Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late Dewey Thomas and Lillian Marie Gunter. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star of Englewood and well known member of the Englewood Community.She was preceded in death by her Husband, John R. "Coon" Land; brother, Leroy Gunter; sister, Dorothy Fae Gunter. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Vincent of Englewood, 3 sisters and 1 brother-in-law, Margaret Hale of Etowah, Rebecca Porter of Englewood, Paula and John Guffey of Athens; 5 brothers and 1 sister-in-law, Jackie Gunter of Englewood, Tommy Gunter of Cleveland, Gary Gunter of Athens, Ross Gunter of Athens and David and Millie Gunter of Cleveland; Brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, J.L. and Hazel Land of Ten Mile and Bobbie Land of Maryville; 2 grandchildren and spouse, Heather and Brian Hicks and J.J. Atkins; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2013 at McMinn Memory Gardens with Bro. Mark Sliger officiating.Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Steve Hale, Allen Gunter, James McBroon, John Guffey, Phillip Johnson and Robbie Ward.
