Mary Ann Trew, 67, of Etowah, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Woods Memorial Hospital. A native of Englewood, she retired from Thomas & Betts after 27 years. A daughter of the late Lewis and Hazel Brock, she was a member of Old Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Trew; one sister, Aliene Brock; and two brothers, Curtis and Kenneth Brock. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Clark and Stacy Johnson of Lenoir City, and Steve and Judi Trew of Etowah; three daughters, Angel Johnson of Etowah, Sharon Johnson of Etowah, and Tracy Trew Moore of Sweetwater; six grandchildren, Jeremy Trew, Taylor Trew, Ashley Johnson, Zack Johnson, Erica Moore and Jordan Trew; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Krista Brock of Texas, Lewis Jr. and Linda Brock of Madisonville, Tommy Brock of Athens, Paul Brock of Englewood, Amos and Darlene Brock of Englewood, and Billy Ray and JoAnne Brock of Louisiana; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Lillian Wood of McMinnville, Juanita Egner of Englewood, Betty Brock of Englewood, and Ruby and Bill Russell of Maryville; one sister-in-law, Tava Brock; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Saturday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Kinzel Hooker officiating.The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.Family and friends will assemble at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and proceed to McMinn Memory Gardens for the 2 p.m. committal service. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
