Mary Etta Wright, 31, of Calhoun, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at her residence. A native of McMinn County, she was preceded in death by her father, Ottis Boyd Crawford Sr.; and her grandmother, Mary Etta Buckner. Survivors include her husband, Calvin Wright; one son, Blake Wright; her mother and stepfather, Jeanette and Ben Kimpson; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Ottis B. and Katrina Crawford and Ted Millsaps; one sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Brian Harris; her grandfather, J.L. Buckner; her grandmother, Alene Nunelley; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Calvin and Mary Ann Wright. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday and will proceed to Mars Hill Cemetery for the 11 a.m. burial. Pallbearers will be Dale Buckner, Eric Buckner, Frankie Buckner, Ted Millsaps and Matthew Hicks. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
