Matthew Bowen Priest, 29, of Englewood, TN is now in his heavenly home.

Matthew was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was a recent graduate of Miracle Lake Christian Training Center. He was a 2012 graduate of McMinn Central High School and was employed at McMinn Memory Gardens. He loved the great outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Susie Priest; grandfather, Jack Raper.

Survivors include his parents, Lori and Jeff Raper, and Andy Priest; siblings and spouses, Ashley and Joshua Hicks, Drew Priest, Brock and Angelia Raper, Natalie and Josh Wright; special nieces and nephews, Harper, Hannah and Heidi Hicks, Gracie Raper and Lennox Wright; grandparents, Stephen and Connie Bowen, Ray Priest and Gracie Raper; several cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Englewood, TN with Pastor Justin Brown and Rev. Jack Bryan officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday prior to the service at the church.
