Maudie L. Thompson, 91 of Etowah passed peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Tennova Hospital, Turkey Creek.

Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Renie Blevins; her daughter, Karen Rutledge; siblings, Elsie Blevins, Charlie Blevins and Jack Blevins.

She leaves behind her children and their spouses, James and Tammie Thompson, Charles Thompson and Ida, Tony and Sharon Thompson; grandchildren, Kara Lane, Tabatha sharp, Tonya Rutledge, Shone Rutledge, Ashley McAmis and Jason Thompson; great-grandchildren, Paisley Lane, Palmer Lane, Whitney Weir, Chase Clemmer, Damien Merritt, Theseus Thompson, Atlas Thompson; great-great-grandson, James Weir; nieces and nephews, Jackie Blevins, Eva Marie Frye, Tana Jo Bowers, Sharla King and Wayne Blevins.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 28th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Englewood Christian Church located at 308 Englewood Ave., Englewood, TN 37329.
