Mayme Poteet Underwood, age 86, of Delano TN passed away Monday July 15, 2019 surrounded by her family.

She was a daughter of the late Joe and Rosie Poteet. A member of Delano Baptist Church and she retired from Morgan Manufacture.  Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Underwood; brothers, Fred Poteet, Billy Poteet; and nephew, Gary Poteet.

Survivors include her sisters, Maxine Hunt of Delano, Chloey Garren and husband James of Delano; sister-in-law, Edith Poteet of Chattanooga; nieces and nephews, Steve Poteet, Debbie Poteet-Johnson, Lynn Poteet-Kyker and Tim Poteet; several great-nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2019 at Delano Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Johnson officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 18 ^th at the funeral home.
