Melba "Catherine" Wilson, 90, received her reward in Heaven on August 31, 2016.

She was a wonderful example of faith, hope, and unconditional love. She was a devoted wife, a precious mother, a loving sister, and a sweet Mamaw.

She and her husband of 58 years, John, worked side-by-side and owned Wilson's Best Deal sporting goods store in Etowah for many years before retiring. After retirement, they enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with and caring for family and built a home near the Large family home place built by her father. Mrs. Wilson was a member of First Baptist Church of Niota.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Helen Large of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Ron Wolfe of Niota; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Rhonda and Mike Kosciewicz of Lenoir City; and many other treasured family.

Special thanks to all of the caregivers that helped us throughout this journey.

Receiving of friends will be at Bordwine Funeral Home in Etowah, TN on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., funeral service at 2:00 p.m., and burial immediately following service at Green Hill Cemetery in Etowah, TN.

Pallbearers will be Don Wilson, Ray Wilson, Roy Wilson, Doug Helms, Mike Kosciewicz, and Scott Ward.
