Michael Allan Poteet, 54 of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Preceded in death by his father, Michael Raymond Poteet; maternal grandparents, Floyd Leon and Bobbie Jean Newman; nephew, Briar Morgan.

Survivors include his wife, Scarlet Poteet; son and wife, Christopher and Tier Pruett; mother, Deborah Lynn Christy; sister and brother-in-law, Jeana and Joe Louis Moffett II; grandchildren, Eli and Nasin Morgan, Jonah Lee Pruitt and Beau Pruitt; nephew, Dusty Savage; step-mother, Diane Poteet; step-brothers, Keith and Brian Tuck and their families.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Coghill Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Hatcher officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday prior to the service at the church.
