Michael Vaughn, 51, of Etowah, TN passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at his residence. He was a graduate of TN Technology Center of Athens; and an auto mechanic at Downtown Auto, Athens, TN; a member of the Chilhowee Rod and Gun Club and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and bow shooting. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Hattie Sears of Hinton, WV and Alfred and Judy Vaughn of Cleveland, TN.

Survivors include his parents, Terry and Jean Vaughn of Etowah, TN; most important person in the world to him, like a son, Zachary Moses; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry Vaughn, Tommy and Amy Vaughn of Pipestem, WV; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Tim Bryson of Englewood, TN, Kim and Ben Winkler of Chatsworth, GA; nieces and nephews, Tyler Vaughn, Sara Tate, Michael Bryson, Caleb Bryson, Heather Vaughn, Noah Winkler, Amanda Bender and Ashley Vaughn.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2015 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Lucas Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
