Micheal D. Burton, 43, of Etowah, TN passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He was a son of Sherry Self and the late Jerry Burton. Proceded in death by his father; brother, Ronnie Burton; maternal grandfather, Glenn Self; and maternal grandparents, Jess and Martha Burton.

Survivors include his mother, Sherry Self; daughter, Ashley Burton; fiancé; grandmother, Louise Self; grandson, Kaybryn Topa; aunts, Glenda Martin, Bobbie Davis and Joan Morrow; uncles, Gary and David Self; special friends, Jason Knight, Bill Braden, Curtis Harrison and David Clawson.

Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Etowah Cemetery with Jason Knight officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Jason Knight, Mark Teague, Bill Braden, Justin Fields, Frankie Wade and David Clawson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Lowell Pruitt, Doug Jackson, Webster Bookout, Gary Self, David Self, Curtis Harrison and Joseph Gray.
