She was a resident of the Goodsprings community, and was a daughter of the late Bob and Alice Buckner. She was of the Baptist faith, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Bud Buckner and Curtis Buckner; one son, Harold Williams; and one grandchild, Steve Hodginson.

Survivors include her husband, Robert McCaslin of Etowah; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Sonya Williams of Athens; two daughters and one son-in-law, Alicia Hoffmen of Athens, and Jama and Bill Walker of Madisonville; eight grandchildren, Doug Williams, Marshan Blankinship, Diana Hodginson, Joe Hodginson, Lisa Williams, Cristy Burchfield, Terri Ratledge and Lee Tallent; many great-grandchildren; five sisters and one brother-in-law, Pauline and Thomas Choat and Nina Croft, all of Athens, Joyce Stewart of Decatur, Wanda Starkey of Athens, and Shirley Moore of Etowah; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Cindy Buckner of Athens, and Donald and Luanne Buckner of Etowah; and one brother-in-law, Doc McCaslin.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating. Burial will follow in Goodsprings Cemetery with grandchildren serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
