Morris Sheppard Derreberry, age 89, of Athens, TN, passed away, Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Life Care of Athens in Athens, TN. He was born in Marble, NC,on December 4, 1922,to Wiley and Miley Derreberry. He retired after 47 years from Firestone Tires and was the last of seven children. He is preceded in death by his parents, listed above. Survivors include wife of 65 years, Pat Hovis Derreberry; one son, Mike Derreberry; one daughter, Donna Derreberry Stewart; four grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Derreberry Cemetery in Marble, NC with Pator Randall Van Hoose officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
