Myrtle Marie Stephens, 96, of Etowah, TN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2020.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a longtime member of Eastanallee Baptist Church. She was retired from Agriculture Extension Services.

Preceded in death by her parents, Pleasant Luther and Laura Della Isbill; children, Mark Stephens and Randy Stephens; five sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Pryor Stephens; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Stephens of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Brandon and wife, Sarah Stephens of Conway, SC, Chanda and husband, Larry Roden of Pisgah, AL; great-grandchildren, Nate, Adam and Tyler Stephens all of Conway, SC.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2020 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Interment will follow the service to Chestua Baptist Church Cemetery, Monroe County.
