Nance Geneva Jack, 85, of Etowah, TN, died Sunday morning, May 8, 2011 at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home in Etowah, TN. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Joseph William Pell and Leona Key Pell and was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Taylor Jack; one son, James B. Jack; one daughter, Mary Magnolia Jack; her parents, listed above; and seven brothers and four sisters. Survivors include one granddaughter, Crystal Gentry and husband Ricky of Cleveland, TN; two grandsons, James Perry Jack and wife Fonda and James Stephen Jack, all of Cleveland, TN; one great-granddaughter, Brittany Gentry of Cleveland, TN; one great-grandson, Taylor Lee Jack of Cleveland, TN one daughter-in-law, Rose Jack Rymer of Cleveland, TN and several nieces, nephews and two sister-in-law. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Lloyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Etowah City Cemetery on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 for the 11:00 a.m., committal service.
