Nannie Sue Black, 80, of Etowah, TN was called to her heavenly home, Sunday afternoon, June 12, 2022.
A graduate of Englewood Highschool; she was also and Eastern Star Member. Nannie Sue was as an artist and entrepreneur. She worked along side her late husband, Johnny Black who were married a beautiful 61 years. Together they were the owners of the "Nut House" over the years they had many different businesses. They were especially known for the love they shared which impacted anyone around. Nannie Sue has been a very loving and kind mother; a sweet grandmother; a precious great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Black; son, Mark Black; granddaughter, Natasha Black; her parents, Ernest and Nellie Simpson; brothers, James, Charles and Edward Simpson; sisters, RubyNeil Hudson and Maxine Lee.
She leaves behind her loved ones, daughter, Shari and Scott Roudebush; son, Nick and Rhonda Black; daughter-in-law, Kathy Black; sister, Edith Adams; granddaughters, Monica and Tommy Robinson; Kassie Mitchell and Hattie Black; grandson, Keith and Andrea Hampton, Kaid Black and fiancé, Olivia Johnson; great-granddaughters, Karma and Kyra Hampton, Millie Black; great-grandsons, Kobe Hampton and Sawyer Crager.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Minister Carl Roudebush officiating.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble Saturday, June 18 th at McMinn Memory Gardens for the 10:00 a.m. committal service.
Kaid Black, Tommy Robinson, Pat Lee, Mike Lee, John Hale, Scott Roudebush and Nicky Black will serve as pallbearers.
Ronald Hudson, Mike Simpson, Alan Adams and Jack Walker will serve as Honorary pallbearers.
